My screen flickers like there’s no tomorrrow in Vista and The Mac Genius told me that there is nothing that can be done. I’m going to try again with a clean install. Ive been told this is because of the overlay settings but don’t seem to have option in my ATI settings so it was suggested that i need a new driver.

But there is still a little flickering left on my Macbook Pro 2. I have a 19″ Phillips screen, it works fine in OSX adjusts to max resolution but when i use it in XP Bootcamp if i use a resolution higher than x the desktop area is beyond the screen size E. Apple, please fix this!

I was mogility to do so when Boot Camp was in beta mode, but not since I installed Leopard. It went from occasional to constant after upgrading to Leopard and the new firmware.
I am by no means a novice Mac or PC user, but this problem is making me feel like one. Radeon X Driver – Macbook Pro 17″ C2D I know this topic appears elsewhere; I am re-asking because there hasn’t mzc progress that I can find anywhere here or on the web. Ask a question Reset.

MacBook’s with Intel processors are a great start, but not if Apple doesn’t quickly figure out how to support the Windows environment that it states it can with Boot Camp.
When it does boot, the backlight comes back on, the cursor shows up and then the desktop.
