New SATA harddisk not recognized in BIOS
Posted 09 May – You’re board only supports SATA 1. Floppy has two folders Pide and Raid.
Confused on this one. Once you are sure the drive is set correctly saata hook it into the PC. Several functions may not work.

You can’t post answers that contain mwi email address. So thanks it worked right away. You only need the RAID drivers if your installing two indentical hard drives say twin ‘s the software would set up a RAID array making it seem like you have one gig hard drive, if I remember this right.

I would recommend disconnecting your IDE hard drive, to ensure nothing happens to it by accident. Did searches and found many same questions and many that didnt install drivers and now have their sata drives not showing up in xp.
I hope you can give a sollution.
